Higher education: Khosa meets PPLA today
Senior adviser to CM will head govt delegation that will meet Punjab Professors and Lectures Association.

Sardar Zulifkar Ali Khan Khosa, senior adviser to the chief minister, will head a government delegation that will meet with Punjab Professors and Lectures Association (PPLA) leaders today.
The meeting will also be attended by Law Minister Rana Sanaullah and Education Minister Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman where the demands of the PPLA will be discussed.
The decision was taken at a meeting presided over by Khosa to review the issues of Higher Education Department and the functioning of the Boards of Governors (BoGs) in 26 colleges starting four-year degree programmes this year.
The meeting noted that the Boards of Governors of these colleges had started functioning this year and had held their first meetings.
The boards are monitoring the academic activities at colleges and also dealing with the financial matters.
Rana Sanaullah, Higher Education Secretary Haseeb Athar, Additional Secretary Chaudhry Akram and Advocate General Khwaja Haris were also present during the meeting.
