Actor Jennifer Aniston shares high school was a nightmare for her
LOS ANGELES:
Actor Jennifer Aniston recently said that her high school days were a nightmare for her, in terms of fashion. Describing what her look used to be like back in the day, the Cake actor shared it was more like the 1990’s ‘mom jean’ look.
“Big blousy blouses with a big chunky belt. And remember the Western cowboy shoe? I thought I was looking so cool,” she said. “High school was tragic. I was just not well-informed about fashion and experimenting away. It was the 1980s and I looked like a goth nightmare. I wasn’t going for most beautiful. It was, how can I be the most rebelliously unattractive,” Aniston quipped.
The actor credited her glam squad for teaching her everything she knows about fashion today. “I give full credit to my glam team. Whatever was happening before was just unfortunate. Now I know how to contour and I know how to blow out my hair.”
Mentioning she has gradually mastered the art of fashion, Aniston shared she gave her husband Justin Theroux’s wardrobe a makeover too. The 47-year-old also incorporated a splash of colour into his closet because she was fed up of him wearing bland garments all the time. “Colour! Not just black. Different colours look quite adorable on men,” she said.
The former Friends actor – who was crowned the world’s most beautiful woman of 2016 by People magazine on April 20 – said her fashion sense has been altered since she got married eight months ago. “Well, let me tell you. I think I’m pretty much the same but Justin really enjoys me in skinny jeans which I loathe. But I think I have more skinny jeans these days than normal,” she said.
