Two sisters attempted suicide by swallowing poison in a Jaranwala police precinct on Saturday.
The younger girl died but the other survived and is being treated at the THQ hospital.
A police spokesperson said an 11-year-old girl and her 13-year-old elder sister, residents of Chak 128-GB, swallowed poison after arguing with their parents.
They were taken to a hospital but the 11-year-old died on the way to the hospital.
