An inmate died here in Central Prison Haripur on Saturday. Prison officials told The Express Tribune Sifarash Khan, who hailed from Ghazi tehsil, was serving a life sentence for committing murder. He developed multiple health complications, including hypertension and diabetes. He was under treatment at the prison’s hospital and was shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Haripur a few days ago.
