Security agencies have warned of major political clashes between the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) in parts of Sindh. A letter issued by intelligence agencies warned that clashes between the activists of MQM and PSP cannot be ruled out in Karachi, Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas, particularly on the eve of a proposed public gathering by the PSP on Sunday, April 24, in Karachi. The report further stated that the MQM chief Altaf Hussain has directed party’s in-charges of zones, sectors and units to strongly resist the PSP and keep a watchful eye on the activities of PSP workers.
