KARACHI: The Sindh Board of Investment (SBI) has said that it will organise an international investment conference in Karachi to explore new vistas of investment in Sindh. The decision was taken during discussions between SBI Chairperson Naheed Memon, who is on a visit to Germany along with a Sindh government delegation, and Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development, Germany. Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development Germany Director General Andreas Gies agreed to extend cooperation in the sectors of renewable energy resources and how to cope with climatic change, according to a press release issued by SBI. Gies said that his ministry was ready to cooperate and exchange technical, financial and professional expertise with Pakistan in disaster handling measurements, urban planning and the problems posed by climatic changes.
