London mayoral elections: Imran supporting ex-brother-in-law
35-year-old Tory candidate is part of Conservative party leader David Cameron’s inner circle
PTI chief Imran Khan has been called upon by his former wife Jemima Goldsmith to back her brother Zac Goldsmith in the London mayoral elections widely expected to be held on May 6.
Imran Khan spoke at a mosque in Kingston upon Thames exerting his charm trying to convince Britons of Pakistani origin in the area to vote for Zac.
“Zac is like a younger brother. But I am not campaigning because he is like a younger brother, but because I know his views and specifically he was anti-war consistently and war has devastated Pakistan,” Imran Khan said.
The 35-year-old Tory candidate for the constituency of Richmond Park is part of Conservative party leader David Cameron’s inner circle.
