Documentary to be made on singer Rihanna’s life
LOS ANGELES:
It seems as though there really is no stopping Rihanna. After becoming an international icon for her music and impeccable sense of style, the Barbados beauty is now gearing up for a documentary to be made about her life and career. Filmmaker Peter Berg will be directing the project for Film 45, his recently-launched production company which focuses on non-scripted, branded entertainment for film, television and other platforms. The documentary will be titled Rihanna.
According to Film 45’s website, Rihanna will follow the “true international superstar as she navigates life as an artist, businesswoman and humanitarian, while contending with the inherent pressure of artistic freedom.” The film has been further described as an “unfiltered look into Rihanna’s life and how she has ascended to become a global icon, providing a glimpse into the evolution of one of the world’s most well known pop artists.”
Rihanna fan leaves singer stunned with his amazing vocals
Although the documentary is yet to receive an official release date, Berg – who has previously worked with Rihanna in the 2012 thriller Battleship – teased their upcoming project with a black and white photograph that he shared over Instagram. “This girl, RiRi (Rihanna)… she’s not bad,” he claimed, in the caption of the image, which showed him posing next to the singer. “See, I’m smiling... I ain’t mad.”
