FAISALABAD: “The district administration will facilitate the private sector in the promotion of quality education,” said acting District Coordination Officer Kanwar Ijaz Khaliq Razzaki on Wednesday.

He was addressing a function organised by the Principals’ Forum at the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI). The ceremony was organised for position holders of the Punjab Examination Commission 2016.

The acting DCO said the provincial government had chalked out a comprehensive policy to revamp education standards.

“This policy can only be effective if all sections of the society come together to help the government in this endeavour.”

He said industrialists and philanthropists of Faisalabad should generously contribute to the health and education sectors.

“It is remarkable that a student from a rural background secured top position in the annual examination conducted by the Punjab Examination Commission.

His parents and teachers deserve special appreciation,” he said.
