Supply of gas suspended to Dera Bugti and surrounding areas following the blast.

QUETTA:
Two gas pipelines were blown up in Dera Bugti area of Balochistan on Monday.

Official sources said that unidentified people had fixed an explosive device with the gas pipelines of eight inch diameter in Loti and 24 inch diameter in Pesh Bogi area. Both pipelines were destroyed when the explosive devices went off.

The supply of gas through these pipelines has been suspended to the purification plant.

The supply of gas has also been suspended in Dera Bugti town and other surrounding areas because the fire resulting from the blasts had affected the power transmission lines.
