Gulshan-I-Iqbal Attack: Another injured passes away

The attack on March 27 had taken place on the occasion on Easter Sunday

LAHORE: A man injured in the Gulshan-i-Iqbal terrorist attack died at Jinnah Hospital on Monday night took the death toll from the blast to 76. The deceased was identified as Chand Masih, a resident of Christian Colony, Sheikhupura. He had remained under treatment at Jinnah Hospital for two weeks. The attack on March 27 had taken place on the occasion on Easter Sunday. In a statement released to the media after the attack, the Jamaatul Ahrar, a breakaway faction of the Tehrik Taliban Pakistan, had claimed responsibility for the attack. At least 50 injured are still under treatment at various hospitals of the city.
