KARACHI: From Khwahishon to Pi Jaun and the relatively recent, Roiyaan to projects he did for Bollywood, singer Farhan Saeed knows how to stay relevant. The former Jal member seems to have carved an alternate space for himself in spite of the baggage that comes with being a Jal outcast. And this time too, he’s got his fans roaring with the release of latest song Koi Rokay Na Mujhay and more importantly his upcoming tour to India.

Speaking to The Express Tribune, Saeed shared his visit to India will be of 10 days, comprising five live performances. “My concerts will mainly be in New Delhi. Besides, I also have to visit Mumbai for a recording of a Bollywood soundtrack.” About this project, Saeed had earlier revealed he will be lending his single, Tu Thori Dair, to Mohit Suri’s upcoming flick, Half Girlfriend. The song is a duet that also features playback singer Shreya Ghoshal.

Excited to perform in front of an Indian audience, Saeed is anxiously looking forward to his impending tour. “It’s always great to perform in India. Actually, to portray a softer image of Pakistan anywhere in the world is a great feeling.”

On the other hand his new song, Koi Rokay Na Mujhay released on social media on April 9. The video features a star-studded cast including Iman Ali, Sajid Hasan, and fashion designer Munib Nawaz. “The point of this effort was to help revive the culture of music videos in Pakistan,” added Saeed.
