Horoscope: April 12, 2016

Your stars today

Aries | March 20 – April 19

Just when you thought things were going your way, sudden events have undermined certain plans. Tempting as it to put these back on track, ask a few questions first. They’re probably coming undone because of changes in circumstances. Once you learn more, you’ll realise letting them go would be wise.

Taurus | April 20 – May 20

Being a practical Taurus, you dislike wasting your time on ideas that are going nowhere. Unworkable as the plans being discussed seem to you, others are enthusiastic. Knowing that, ask a few questions. While your reservations won’t vanish overnight, the facts you learn will soon convince you it’s worth taking a chance.

Gemini | May 21 – June 20

Waste no time trying to fit into the plans of others. Certain rather demanding individuals may insist there’s no other way anything can get done. But that’s because they’re accustomed to others giving in. Simply explain your intentions, then proceed as if everybody agreed. That should do the trick.

Cancer | June 21 – July 22

The recent Full Moon accented the structure of your life, and brought both facts and feelings to a head. Consequently, you’re still reviewing events and discussions. Important as this is, you’re in the midst of a cycle of change. Knowing that, regard whatever you plan or organise as tentative, at best.

Leo | July 23 – August 22

For ages you’ve been trying to escape from certain increasingly restrictive arrangements but made little progress. Now events are taking this out of your hands. Worrying, if not disruptive, as these developments seem, at least explore what’s on offer. Once you’ve learnt more, you’ll realise how timely these changes are.

Virgo | August 23 – September 22

It may be unlike you to agree to an offer without knowing exactly what’s involved. But with things moving swiftly, there’s little time to ask questions. This means either bypassing what’s come your way or taking a risk and learning about what’s required as each day and, perhaps, hour unfolds.

Libra | September 23 – October 22

This is one of those tricky periods during which even the simplest of arrangements is unlikely to go as planned. Knowing that, expect on-going twists and turns, and probably sudden changes too. Unsettling as this seems, this gives you and others a chance to consider what worked and rethink what didn’t.

Scorpio | October 23 – November 21

The words ‘frank conversation’ mean different things to different people and, even more to each zodiac sign. To many, this suggests that all the cards will be put on the table. But to you, as a discreet and somewhat calculating Scorpio, you’ll reveal numerous facts, but keep as many in reserve.

Sagittarius | November 22 – December 21

Sudden and potentially unsettling as the ideas currently coming your way may be, they’re worth investigating. At minimum, you’ll learn something from them. But it’s likely you’ll want to get involved. While these may not work out, they could be a rehearsal for something else that will in a few weeks’ time.

Capricorn | December 22 – January 19

Obviously, having plans sprung on you at the last minute is awful. Yet with unpredictable Uranus accenting the part of your chart that has to do with your life at home or out in the world, these are an increasingly regular occurrence. And, bizarrely, every time, you learn from them.

Aquarius | January 20 – February 17

There’s no right or wrong way to love somebody. As an Aquarius, you have an instinctive understanding there are as many ways to care about others as there are people in the world. Still, some subscribe to a formula. Explain that’s fine for them but simply not the way you think.

Pisces | February 18 – March 19

Often tricky issues are best ignored. While, obviously, you can’t adopt this strategy long term, by saying nothing you give everybody concerned time to think and, importantly, to reflect on their priorities. That way, when you return to the matter in question, it will be with an entirely fresh perspective.
