Quetta raid: Police kill three kidnappers, recover abductee
The kidnappers used an Afghanistan-registered cellphone SIM to call the family for ransom

The city police claim to have recovered an abductee in a successful operation that left three kidnappers dead on Sunday. Two kidnappers were also arrested in the raid in the Khatam-e-Nabuwat Chowk neighbourhood.
According to DIG Shah, police traced the SIM to Khatam-e-Nabuwat Chowk of the city where two kidnappers, who he identified as Fareed Ahmed and Zubair Ahmed, were arrested.

“A student, named Aimal Khan, was kidnapped from Satellite Town two weeks ago, and the kidnappers had demanded $200,000 in ransom from the family,” DIG Syed Imtiaz Shah told a news conference in Quetta.
Aimal was the son of a local trader, Naik Muhammad, he added. “The kidnappers used an Afghanistan-registered cellphone SIM to call the family for ransom.”
