Bust: Four held for selling stolen vehicles

The police searched the car and recovered forged documents of three vehicles

ISLAMABAD: Police have arrested four persons, including one impersonating an army officer, for selling stolen and non-custom paid vehicles. Police stopped a Corolla car AAM-787 in Sector G-9/1 on Saturday. The driver, in army uniform, introduced himself as Atta Ullah s/o Shah Murad and said he was a colonel. On suspicion, the police asked for an identity which he could not produced. He was found to be an imposter. The police searched the car and recovered forged documents of three vehicles. The other three occupants were identified as Imran Khan, Adnan Khan and Jaffar Khan. Police said during investigation, the suspects confessed to selling stolen and non-custom paid vehicles in Swat after purchasing them from Quetta. Police have obtained physical remand.
