Bakhtawar inaugurates Cambridge school in Benazirabad
25 schools will be established by the Sindh govt for kids from low-income households

One of the 25 Cambridge system schools being established in as many districts of Sindh at the cost of Rs3.4 billion, was inaugurated at a ceremony on Friday by Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari, sister of Pakistan Peoples Party's chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, in Benazirabad district.

The schools will provide education to students from kindergarten to O' Levels. "Children from poor families will be given education of international standards at these schools," said Bakhtawar, adding that similar schools are being opened in other districts of Sindh.
Sindh education minister Nisar Khuhro said 25 English-medium Cambridge schools and 25 comprehensive high schools are being established in the province. He said the school building is equipped with a weather protection system, with a cold farmed steel structure, which will keep the school warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.

The building is also fire and earthquake resistant. Children whose parents earn Rs20,000 or less will be given admission in the school and will also be provided free milk and lunch.
