Crackdown in mardan: 900 houses searched, 43 suspects held

SHERGARH: At least 900 houses were searched and 43 suspects were arrested by the police and army personnel in Khakai, Mardan. According to a statement issued by the Mardan DPO’s office, a large cache of arms were seized during the search operation. “The operation was led by SP Operations Shafiullah Gandapur along with personnel of the bomb disposal unit,” read the statement.
