Kidnapping charge: Three of a family booked

They also ransacked the house and took away Rs60,000 in cash, jewellery and other valuable items

KALLAR SYEDAN: Three members of a family were booked for allegedly kidnapping a woman and looting cash and valuables from her house in Kallar Syedan on Wednesday. Muhammad Asif*, a resident of Dhoke Dherain Dakhli, lodged a complaint with the local police that Nasir*, his brother, Bashir* and mother, Naseem* showed up at his house, while he and his wife were away, and held his two daughters and a son hostage. They suspected family ransacked his house and kidnapped his 24-year-old daughter at gunpoint. They also ransacked the house and took away Rs60,000 in cash, jewellery and other valuable items. When the couple returned, they found their house locked from outside and their daughter missing.
