Murder: Man shoots sister dead over property

MULTAN: A man shot his sister dead and injured four other relatives in a dispute over a property in a village near Multan city on Wednesday. Police said that Javed had had a property dispute with his sister Safia Bibi and his brother Abid. On Wednesday, Javed got into an argument with them and shot them at their house in Chah Maheer Wala Basti on Shorkot Road. Safia Bibi succumbed to her injuries but his brother Abid survived. Other relatives including Ali Hassan, Anis Fatima and Mehram Ali were injured. Rescue-1122 officials took the injured to a hospital and New Multan police arrested the accused and started investigations.
