Fighting terrorism: Corps commander calls on CM
The meeting stressed upon the need for coordinated and organised action against terrorism

Lahore Corps Commander Lt General Sadiq Ali met Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday.
Implementation of the National Action Plan was discussed at the meeting. It was decided to make the civil-military joint coordination centre more effective. The meeting stressed upon the need for coordinated and organised action against terrorism, especially in the wake of recent suicide attack at Gulshan-i-Iqbal. Progress on the operations continuing throughout the province was reviewed as well. It was decided to take action against terrorist networks and their facilitators through strong collaboration among Army, Pakistan Rangers, the Counter Terrorism Department and police.
