National Action Plan: 25 suspects arrested from Faisalabad
The police rounded up more than 25 suspects
FAISALABAD:
Faisalabad police claimed to have arrested 25 suspects from various parts of Faisalabad during a search operation on Monday-Tuesday. Police spokesperson Amir Waheed said on Tuesday that CPO Afzaal Kausar had directed officials to conduct a search operation and beef up security at the entrance points of the city under the National Action Plan. He said the police had checked hostels, hotels and restaurants and had verified the identification of all their residents. The police rounded up more than 25 suspects. Earlier, more than 250 suspects from Faisalabad had been taken into custody for interrogation pertaining to the Gulshan-i-Iqbal Park carnage in Lahore, the spokesperson added.
