The chief secretary ordered steps for improving security at education institutions, parks and hospitals

Newly appointed Chief Secretary Zahid Saeed on Monday directed heads of provincial departments to solve citizens’ problems and take steps to improve service delivery. He was chairing a meeting of the Administrative Secretaries’ Committee at Civil Secretariat here on Monday. Saeed said that law and order and provision of health and education facilities were the top priorities of the government. He directed that all development projects be completed on time. Any delay in this regard would not be tolerated, he said. The chief secretary ordered steps for improving security at education institutions, parks and hospitals. He said that all departments should cooperate with the Punjab Overseas Pakistanis’ Commission to help resolve problems reported by Pakistani expatriates.
