Day 2: Hunar-e-Hawa Mela continues

PESHAWAR: Families continued to visit the Hunar-e-Hawwa Mela on its second day on Saturday to see the products and handicrafts on display. They also enjoyed traditional programmes performed at the festival. The event was organised by the Tourism Corporation Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (TCKP) for women entrepreneurs at PIA Planetarium in Hayatabad. Different competitions, including a fashion show, painting, kite-flying, poetry recital sessions, cooking and traditional musical programmes were held. Zeek Afridi, Shafaq Ali, Shena Guland and other famous artistes performed in the evening and enthralled the audience with their melodious voices.
