The trailer for Azhar, a biopic on former Indian cricket team captain Mohammad Azharuddin, is out and it has a dose of everything that makes a movie good -- romance, love, betrayal, pride and patriotism -- meshed together.

Emraan Hashmi plays the lead role bearing striking resemblance to one of the most successful and also the most controversial skippers India has ever had.

The film also takes us inside Azharuddin's personal life and his relationships. Prachi Desai enacts the role of his first wife and Nargis Fakhri stars as his second wife Sangeeta Bijlani. Lara Dutta also makes an appearance as a lawyer.

Produced by Ekta Kapoor and directed by Tony D'Souza, the story follows Azharuddin's rise to glory and his downfall. The film is slated to release on May 13.
