Violation : Man booked for threatening cop
The police have registered a case and started an investigation.
RAWALPINDI:
A man was booked for allegedly abusing and threatening a traffic warden in the Naseerabad area of Rawalpindi on Friday. Warden Abid Khattak lodged a complaint with the local police stating that he was performing his duty at Meherabad Chowk when he signalled a motorist, Ahmed, driving his car (LJ-220) to stop after the driver had violated a traffic law. Khattak stated that he stopped his car in the middle of the chowk, causing a traffic jam and started hurling threats to his life, as well as abusing him. The police have registered a case and started an investigation.
