Punjab governor visits Quaid’s mausoleum
Khosa says Karachi must be made peaceful in order to strengthen its economy.
KARACHI:
Punjab Governor Latif Khan Khosa visited the Quaid’s mausoleum on Saturday, and told the media that poor people look to the government to resolve their issues.
He added that the PPP does not want disputes with any party and wants to run government affairs with the assistance of all parties, including the Pakistan Muslim League (N).
Khosa said that Karachi must be made peaceful in order to strengthen its economy and that since bloodshed in any of its parts was painful for the entire nation, all political and social forces should come together to determine a resolution. The governor said that support and cooperation among all parties was the government’s prime objective.
