Education reforms: At least 35,000 students enrol at government schools

Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information and Higher Education Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani on Thursday claimed around 35,000 students of private schools have enrolled in government schools after reforms were made in the education sector. He said this at the inauguration ceremony of the new office of Directorate of Commerce Education in Peshawar. Ghani said with proper implementation of reforms agenda in K-P, efficiency of government offices have improved which highlights the fact that peoples’ trust in government institutions has been restored. He informed new Directorate of Commerce Education was completed at a cost of Rs105 million on 18 kanals of lands. Ghani added people showed positive responses to universities bill 2015 which aims to increase the standard of education .
