Public health: Substandard milk seized
The PFA fined Mian Sardar Milk Shop in Samanabad over poor hygiene

The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) continued seized 5,450 litres of substandard milk along with vehicles that were transporting it to the City.
A PFA food safety officer had set up pickets at various entrances to the provincial capital and inspected around 119 vehicles transporting milk. The authority seized six vehicles that were bringing in substandard milk. The PFA officials also sent 11 samples to a laboratory for analysis.
In Allama Iqbal Town, PFA officials sealed Khalil Bakery over poor cleanliness. The PFA officials also found flies on food.
Haji Milk Shop in Samanabad Town was also sealed for the same reason. The PFA fined Mian Sardar Milk Shop in Samanabad over poor hygiene and directed the management to improve arrangements for cleanliness.
