FAISALABAD: A Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) team on Tuesday arrested two men for running a currency exchange in Jaranwala without a licence.

The FIA had received a tip-off about the unlicensed business near Char Batti Chowk. On Tuesday, a team, headed by FIA deputy director Ali Imam Zaidi, raided the place and took two men into custody for questioning. The raiding team seized 2.2 million Iranian riyals, 4,710 Korean yen, 3,950 Indian rupees, 3,270 Thai Baht, 420 South African rand and 7,450 Pakistani rupees.
