Army chief General Raheel Sharif directed military authorities on Sunday to take action against the perpetrators of the Lahore suicide bombing.
The decision was taken at a high-level security meeting late Sunday night where attendees included directors general of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and Military Intelligence (MI).
The meeting reviewed the initial information about the attack following which the army chief directed the concerned commanders and intelligence agencies to commence search for linkages to the attacks and possible perpetrators.
“The COAS resolved that we must bring the killers of our innocent brothers, sisters and children to justice and will never allow these savage in humans to overrun our life and liberty,” said ISPR chief Lt Gen Asim Bajwa.
