Ever since her acting debut in the Salman Khan production Hero, Athiya Shetty is often called glamorous. She may have carved a name for herself in Bollywood on account of both her acting skills and fashion quotient but Shetty asserts that experimenting with different roles for films is what’s challenging about her profession. Willing to appear on-screen without any sort of make-up, Shetty shared she would love to do non glamorous roles from now on, reported IANS. “I’m open to de-glam roles. In fact, I would love to do them if the role demands and wants different things out of me. I think that is the challenge of being an actor.”

Lately, a number of B-town actors have been singing praises for Shetty, in connection to her sense of style. Claiming that nobody can even come close to actor Sonam Kapoor’s fashion sense, Shetty stated, “I go with what I feel comfortable wearing. I dress according to my body type and don’t think too much. I think fashion is an extension of your personality. Style should always be something unique.” Shetty went on to say that, “It feels really special to see people acknowledge my sense of style but the only person I can thank is my stylist Ami Patel, because she’s been able to give me my own personality through my clothes and I think that’s very important.”

‘Grandma’s oil massage is my hair secret’

The daughter of actor Suniel Shetty has recently been in the news for various reasons, one of which is her sizzling chemistry with Ishaqzaade actor Arjun Kapoor. However, she remains unfettered by buzzing rumours around her love life. “Gossip about my personal life doesn’t bother me at all. I don’t want to comment about it because as soon as I do, it is taken into a completely different context,” Indian Express quoted Shetty as saying. “I think Arjun has a very busy life too. He has better things to do than think about this.”
