Abducted trader returns
The police officer said that the trader had not shared whether or not the abductors asked for ransom
RAWALPINDI:
A businessman who went missing from Rawalpindi seven days ago returned home safely on Saturday, police sources said.
Khurram Aziz, who owns a toy shop at Sadar Bazaar, in Rawalpindi was brought home by his family from Sarai Alamgir.
According to the details, Aziz made a call to his family on Wednesday that he was present in Sarai Alamgir. The trader went missing on March 18 after he left his home at Saadi Road for his shop on Bank Road.
Javaid Khan, SHO of Cantonment Police, said that the police had learnt that Aiziz was abducted by two men and taken to Dina, a town in Jhelum. He said that the abductors later shifted the trader to Sarai Alamgir where they freed him.
The police officer said that the trader had not shared whether or not the abductors asked for ransom.
