DRAP registers 571 new drugs
The authority also suspended registration of medicines of four companies
ISLAMABAD:
Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) has registered 571 new medicines to be used for diabetes, asthma, cancers and various viral diseases.
DRAP drug registration board (DRB) gave approval for the medicines during its meeting here on Friday.
Representatives from provincial health departments and other officials attended the meeting, which was chaired by DRB chairman Ghulam Rasool Dotani.
The authority also suspended registration of medicines of four companies while imposed fines on three others for not meeting the standards.
