Bogus cheque: Man booked for ‘fraud’

ISLAMABAD: A man was booked for allegedly issuing a ‘bogus’ cheque in Blue Area on Wednesday. Naveed Ikram lodged a complaint with the local police that Mahzar Hussain allegedly wrote him a cheque for Rs500,000. Ikram said that when he went to the bank to get the cheque cashed but the staff there told him that there was no money in Hussain’s account. A case has been registered.
