Development ties: Chinese delegation visits Gwadar

A Chinese company has already begun the survey for Gwadar International Airport

QUETTA: The Chairman of Zhuhai Port Holding Group has said that China is interested in investing in various fields in Gwadar which would further cement the long-standing relations of China and Pakistan. He expressed these views during a visit of nine-member Chinese delegation to Gwadar here on Tuesday. He said that under ‘sister city relationship’ China would help Pakistan in investment in civil and other sectors. Chairman Gwadar Authority Dostain Khan Jamali and Director General Gwader Development Authority Sajjad Baloch briefed the delegation about the master plan of the Gwader port, Economic Corridor, Gwadar Free Industrial Zone, Gwader Expressway and other projects. He said that the cooperation would be increased between Gwadar and Zhuhai Port under sister city relationship accord. A Chinese company has already begun the survey for Gwadar International Airport which would be stretched over 4,800 acres.
