PML-N Traders Wing Punjab’s Senior Vice President Khawaja Khawar Rasheed expressed his optimism over the tax amnesty scheme and said that the business community must derive optimum benefits that will not only reduce burden on existing taxpayers but also increase overall tax base.
To a question, the official said the scheme was introduced after consultations with the business and traders’ community.

He welcomed the extension in the deadline of the Voluntary Tax Compliance Scheme by the government and said that it would boost trade activities as well as help strengthen relations between the government and the business community.
“Implementation on the Voluntary Tax Compliance Scheme will bring an economic revolution and improve the national economy,” said Rasheed.
