Pakistan Day: Celebrating the green and white
Prisoners are to be served special meals. Schools will also celebrate the day

Pakistan Day will be celebrated across the country on Wednesday (today) and a public holiday will be observed in the province as per the orders of the federal government. Flag hoisting ceremonies will be held at all public and private buildings in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. Events are planned at Governor and CM houses in the city. Poetry recitations will be organised in K-P and sweets will be distributed at orphanages and senior homes. Prisoners are to be served special meals. Schools will also celebrate the day.
