Supreme Court Registrar Arbab Muhammad Arif on Saturday urged prosecutors to play more vibrant role to make society safer and free from crime.
FJA Director General Fakhar Hayat said the training was meant to enhance the capacity of participants in better prosecution in the administration of criminal justice. He also shed light on the philosophy and rationale of punishment for criminals.

Supreme Court Registrar Arbab Muhammad Arif on Saturday urged prosecutors to play more vibrant role to make society safer and free from crime.
He was addressing the closing ceremony of a weeklong training for prosecutors at the Federal Judicial Academy (FJA), said a press release.
A total of 24 prosecutors from all over Pakistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan attended the training.
“Prosecutors have an extremely demanding and sensitive job. They have to respond more effectively to chronic challenges posed by crimes and criminals in the society,” he said.
Arif urged the participants to use the knowledge they gained from the training to improve their performance in prosecution and make a visible difference.
