The Karachi operation will continue till the elimination of criminal elements, said Sindh Rangers director-general Major General Bilal Akbar on Sunday while speaking to a delegation of the All Pakistan Security Services Association. Maj Gen Akbar briefed the delegation regarding the law and order situation and ongoing operation in Karachi. He asked the security companies to share information with the Rangers and made it clear that the operation was not against any political party or group. He asked the political and religious parties not to give place to criminals or terrorists in their ranks. He also lauded the role of security companies operating in Karachi. Brig (retd) Rasheed Malik and other members of the delegation appreciated the steps taken by the Rangers to restore law and order in the city. They also expressed the hope that the Rangers’ operation will continue with the same intensity.
