ANP provincial president Haider Khan Hoti has said poetry plays a “meaningful role” in bringing about change in a country, stated a press release issued on Sunday. The remarks were made a day ahead of World Poetry Day, which is celebrated on March 21 (today). “Human life cannot exist without poetry,” the press statement quoted him as saying. “Through their works, writers and poets [of yore] have provided us a lesson of peace. This is a model for future generations.”
