Highway Robberies: Former SHO sent on three-day remand
Hyderabad DIG Khadim Hussain Rind has dismissed Nawab and ordered his arrest
HYDERABAD:
A police SHO has been remanded in three-day physical custody of the Sindh Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE), for allegedly conniving with highway robbers. The suspect, identified as Nasir Nawab, is a former SHO of Lunikot police station, which is located on the Super Highway that connects Karachi to Hyderabad. Around 12 FIRs have been registered against Nawad, said ACE inspector Munir Soomro. Earlier on March 11, Hyderabad DIG Khadim Hussain Rind has dismissed Nawab and ordered his arrest in connection with the crimes of the highway robberies.
