Telenor’s Easy paisa – the service that had Rs1 billion worth of transactions in less than a month – has been selected as a nominee for the GSMA Global Mobile Awards, according to Telenor officials.
The GSM Association (GSMA) is an association of mobile operators and related companies devoted to supporting the standardising, deployment and promotion of the GSM mobile telephone system. Their awards offer organisations across the world an opportunity to showcase the latest and best mobile products, services and initiatives to the world.
The presentation of the awards takes place during the Mobile World Congress, the world’s largest and leading mobile industry event held annually in Barcelona. The three-day event is scheduled for 14 to 17th February, according to data provided by Telenor’s corporate communications and responsibility department
