The two-day ‘Women as Change Agent’ came to an end on Thursday amid complaints from students who say they did not know the event would take place.
The event was organised by students in collaboration with the US Embassy in Pakistan and was held at PUTA Hall at University of Peshawar.
Around 15 stalls were set up by women from across K-P and Federally Administered Tribal Areas. The exhibition aimed to encourage women entrepreneurs to showcase products to buyers without needing a middleman. Anisa Shah, one of the organisers of the exhibition, told journalists the programme encouraged women to participate.
