Suicide attempts: Three jail inmates booked
On the complaint of the deputy superintendent, the local police booked the three prisoners and started investigation

The City police on Wednesday booked three Attock jail inmates for attempting to commit suicide. Attock District Jail Deputy Superintendent Muhammad Mumtaz informed the local police that under-trial prisoners Muhammad Bilal, a resident of Rawalpindi, Muhammad Fareed, a resident of Abbottabad, both under-trial for murder, and Tariq Mehmood, accused in a robbery case, attempted to commit suicide in their jail cells using broken light bulbs and razor blades. On the complaint of the deputy superintendent, the local police booked the three prisoners and started investigation.
