Heinous Crime: Three arrested for child abuse

Waseem Abbas, a CPWB officer, said they had found two abandoned children from Data Darbar

LAHORE:
The Child Protection and Welfare Bureau (CPWB) on Monday arrested three men suspected for sexually abusing children. The bureau also rescued a child from their custody. Waseem Abbas, a CPWB officer, said they had found two abandoned children from Data Darbar.  “The children disclosed that Akram alias Maulvi, Zeeshan Karachiwala and Ali Raza ran a child prostitution ring. They had said that the suspects also forced them to use drugs,” Abbas said. He said that the CPWB team had then raided a house near Parinda Market and arrested the suspects.
