Opener Tamim Iqbal on Sunday became the first Bangladeshi to score a century in Twenty20 internationals during his side's World T20 qualifier against Oman in Dharamsala.
The left-handed batsman, who bettered his previous highest of 88 not out, smacked an unbeaten 63-ball 103 in his 49th match to guide Bangladesh to a formidable 180 for two in the knockout encounter.
Tamim, who has been in blazing form with scores of 83 and 47 in the previous two games, got to his ton off a boundary against Oman pace spearhead Bilal Khan.

A veteran of 153 ODIs and 42 Tests, Tamim, 26, has also registered four fifties in the shortest format.
