Not everyone who read his post agreed with him. In fact, Hamza took quite a bashing on social media for his remarks

Hamza Ali Abbasi has posted yet another head scratching post on Facebook. This time the vocal actor has voiced his gratitude to the Afghan Taliban. Yes, you read that right.

Although the post started out well with Hamza lauding Shahbaz Taseer’s courage for surviving years in captivity, things went south quite fast when he, bizarrely, ended up thanking the "legit Afghan Taliban fighting the imperialist US occupation of Afghanistan."

Afghan Taliban deny 'rescuing' Shahbaz Taseer

“Few have the courage that Shahbaz Taseer has shown and may he finally live his life in peace. It turns out that he escaped from his ISIS backed Uzbek captors in Zabul, Afghanistan in an attack by the Haqqani faction of Afghan Taliban who later found Shahbaz Taseer there and safely transported him to Kuchlak, Quetta,” Hamza wrote.

He then went on to admonish those who, in his opinion, could not differentiate between "NDS/RAW funded Khariji Terrorists of TTP and the legit Afghan Taliban,"

“While disagreeing with their interpretation of religion, Afghan Taliban are not enemies Pakistan. So to all those who refuse to distinguish between NDS/RAW funded Khariji Terrorists of TTP and the legit Afghan Taliban fighting the imperialist US occupation of Afghanistan, I guess we should say......Thank you Afghan Taliban.”

Captors freed Taseer’s son of their own will, says inquiry

Hassam | 8 years ago | Reply So, what's so shocking thing about it? We all know Afghan Taliban are friends and US is the biggest enemy of Pakistan.
