A Bird Competition: Whose heron sings the loudest?

PESHAWAR: Shelter for Ailing Human Being Welfare Organisation (SAHBWO) in collaboration with the Directorate of Culture arranged a competition to select a heron which could sing as loudly and for the longest time duration as possible at Kakki in Bannu. According to a press release issued on Friday, 28 competitors from Kakki participated with their pet birds in the competition. Khurshid Khan Wazir, a heron specialist, was appointed as the judge. According to the criteria, Saeed Khan Wazir’s heron came first, while Awal Khan and Nawab Ali Wazir’s birds won second and third positions respectively.
