Islamabad plays host: Expo to showcase Palestinian products
The ambassador said the expo would provide an opportunity to the businessmen of both countries to interact

A Trade Expo is being planned in Islamabad this June in a bid to showcase the potential of Palestinian products. The expo will feature marble and stones, industrial goods, handicrafts, technology and communications and leather goods, Ambassador of Palestine Walid Abu Ali said on Friday. In an interaction with the business community at the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) premises, he said the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) would sponsor the Trade Expo. The ambassador said the expo would provide an opportunity to the businessmen of both countries to interact and explore ways and means for enhancing bilateral trade. He said that although it was difficult for Pakistani businessmen to conduct direct trade with Palestine, they could export through Jordon, Egypt and Turkey.
