A 15-year-old Indian girl is fighting for her life after she was allegedly raped and set on fire at a village near New Delhi on Monday.
The girl’s parents found her on fire, screaming from their terrace in Noida. She was rushed to the hospital with 95 per cent burns.

The police are investigating a man from the village who allegedly stalked the teen. "Witnesses have told us that the boy entered her house forcibly and after raping her he burnt her. We are waiting for a medical report...the burnt percentage is high," a police officer said.
The 15-year-old, a student of grade 10, dropped out of school after being stalked by a 20-year-old man, according to her parents who have lived in the village in the Gautam Buddha Nagar area for nearly 17 years.

“The man continued to harass her until she stopped going out,” they said.
The girl, who is in Delhi's Safdarjung hospital, has been severely burnt and doctors say they are finding it difficult to treat her. "She is on a high dose of antibiotics and is being administered fluids. We are trying to control the spread of infection in her blood which can lead to multi-organ failure," a doctor was quoted as saying.
